RETURNS & EXCHANGES - (effective 08/26/2025)

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items per the guidelines below. You may ship returns via your preferred shipping method. We recommend that you insure your package and keep a copy of the tracking number for your records.

Returns:
To qualify for a return, eligible items as identified below must be shipped back to Women’s Wig Shop. Please follow the Guidelines below as well. There are no restocking fees on the first eligible Full Wig returned per original order. Additional eligible wigs returned per order will incur a 10% or $10 restocking fee (whichever is greater). Returned eligible items other than full wigs (i.e. hairpieces) will also incur a 10% or $10 restocking fee (whichever is greater). To return your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Fill out the Return Form, located on the back of your receipt. If can also be downloaded by clicking here.
  2. Write your Order Number on the OUTSIDE of your package.
  3. Put your completed Return Form and the item(s) you are returning INSIDE your package. Please describe the reason for the return.
  4. Ensure that your return shipment will be received by us within 30 days of placing your order.
  5. Ship your package to the following address:

  6. Once we have received your eligible item for return, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the returned item guidelines. When the return is approved, we will process the refund, less any applicable fees, to your original payment method.

Failure to write the Order Number on the outside of the shipping box and/or complete and/or enclose the form will incur an additional 10% or $10 fee (whichever is greater).

Exchanges:
Exchanges are handled as a Return, please follow the return process above.

Simply go to womenswigshop.com, shop for your replacement item as you would a new order.

Eligible Items:

To be eligible for return, an item must be unaltered and in pristine, unworn (other than trying it on), original condition, with all tags attachedand in the original packaging (undamaged). Items that have been brushed or combed out, have had product applied to them, have picked up odors, or show other signs of wear are not eligible to be returned.

Ineligible Items:

Items under $50, items marked as "final sale", Discontinued/Close Out Items, Hats, Accessories (such as shampoo, conditioner, etc.)  CANNOT be returned. These are FINAL SALE items. If any of these items are returned, they will be donated to charity on your behalf, with no refund applied. Shipping is also non-refundable.

Items that are received after the 30 day return limit are also not eligible items. We will inform you by email if we receive an item that is received after the 30 day limit. You will have the option of having it returned to you at your expense or donated to charity.

Guidelines/Restrictions:

  • We supply a wig cap with all wigs shipped from our facilities; please use the wig cap to keep the wig eligible for return.  
  • Please note that wigs and hair pieces will pick up smoky odors and perfume scents. These items will not be eligible for return.
  • All returns will be inspected. They must also pass the ‘sniff’ test. Those items not in pristine condition will be discarded with no refund applied, or returned to you at your expense.
  • All original packaging must accompany your return (including hair net, tags, tissue paper, inserts and must be placed or attached as it was when you received it) and be repackaged in the same manner as received. The wig product box should be inside a sturdy shipping box. Items shipped back in an envelope will not be accepted.
  • Restocking fees are based on the original purchase price and do not include any discount or coupon codes.
  • Discount/Special Offer items will have refunds adjusted accordingly.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable. We use flat rate shipping fees that are not the actual shipping costs. Actual shipping costs may be deducted from any refund on returned items.
  • Refused shipments will incur fees in addition to restocking fees.
  • Should you require a receipt marked as “Cranial Prosthesis” for insurance purposes, please contact us by email at: customerservice@womenswigshop.com. Once we have issued the receipt, we will not be able to accept a return for that wig due to insurance regulations.
  • Refunds are normally processed by us within 5 business days of receipt of your returned item that passes return inspection.
